Sixth Annual Foundation Gala

This year’s Edison-Ford Foundation Gala, "Celebration of an American Treasure", was held Friday, November 17, 2006 on the grounds of the Thomas Edison and Henry Ford Winter Estates.

The Sixth Annual Gala brought in unprecedented net proceeds of $160,000 to benefit the Partners in Preservation Campaign.

There was dancing to the music of the famous Drifters at this elegant, fun black-tie evening under the stars that has become a “must do” annual charity event. Gourmet dinner and an unprecedented, special auction of a one-of-a-kind Clyde Butcher photograph commissioned exclusively for the Foundation were just some of the highlights of this year’s gala.  All proceeds benefit the preservation of the Thomas Edison and Henry Ford Winter Estates.
